Glorious
A big day out enjoying everything Aberfoyle and the surrounding areas had to offer. Top tier gravelling.

If you ride bikes , then you have to do this
Feed station volunteers were amazing

Beautiful but tough, don't underestimate the climbing!
Just for idiots like me that don't study the course profile properly, you could possibly emphasis the climbing a bit more on the website (I don't often trust total elevation gain figures as they can be quite inaccurate). I hadn't really grasped just how much of a climbing challenge it was but that's on me really.
Also I didn't think the Primrose descent added anything, it was really out of keeping with the rest of the course and just felt like additional puncture risk! I'm not shy of a bit of muddy tech on a gravel ride usually but didn't enjoy this section. Perhaps I'm in a minority though.
Awesome event though! Will lick my wounds and start preparing for next year

Another belter event by the bike trossachs crew! Was so nice to come back and catch up with folk from the previous years rides and races . Can't wait for next year's challenge
Route planning, feed stops and race village were primo !
David Wylie
Great event, brutally hard day but it was run superbly and the scenery was fantastic
Jonathan Walkingshaw
Great vibes and a genuinely inclusive event
Matthew Stone
stunning, challenging
Aaron Speight
Great route
Gemma Souden
The route was really good. Signposted really well.
Registeration was abit awkward.
Start waves would have been better as to many bottle neck on bikes.
Medal could have metal.
Mandy Collie
Stunning scenery and trails. Including sections which were more for MTB perhaps is something to put people off going back.
Alexander Robertson
Far too much climbing, but probably in a good way...
Great event. Less midge would be good. Get a smidge sponsorship.
Linda Reid
Excellent event extremely well organised. Very friendly. Great atmosphere. Would recommend .
Sarah Duley
Super friendly and superb gravel!
Thanks so much for organising a fab event, it was a great atmosphere and the campsite was an ideal base for the start and finish. Thanks Kerry and Beth, and thanks to all the volunteers and marshalls.
Gareth Wells
Breathtaking in every possible sense.
Can a Midge Head Net be added to the Essential kit? It seemed we were feeding every midge in Stirlingshire at the start.
Feed stops were very welcomed and a nice change from. Energy products, gels and my slightly dry bagels.
100% every single person associated with the running of the event was amazing. The stewards with cowbells, people at gates clapping (when they had a personal midge swarm that would make anyone want to run) and the folk manning the feed zones. Oh and the registration staff too.
If I had to say anyone went above amazing, it was the sweep riders. Both were phenomenally kind, gently trying to keep people rolling when they were struggling. I scratched between Feed Zones 2 and 3 and the sweep asked me several times if I was sure and pointed out what was coming up.
Without a doubt this is the single hardest day on a bike I’ve had in 20 years as an adult cyclist. I laughed, I walked, I swore, I sang, I had a moment when I scratched. I want to do it all again in 2026. Just not the scratch part.

well organised up there with any if the big events
I thought the format of both rides on the same day worked well. Made if feel that everyone was together in the challenge and not doing a lesser event. Would like to see a midsized ride option somewhere in between the two current events. I understand this would add more complexity to the organisation.
Everyone working at this event deserves all the credit for putting on such a great day.
Grant Peters
Amazing! Hardest ride I’ve ever done. All staff, volunteers super friendly and efficient.
Fraser Johnston
Epic!
Loved the course overall - only one thing I’d change would be the climb and then grassy single track just after you start riding along the edge of Loch Katrine - the descent was super sketchy today (probably not helped by the weather) and I know a few people slipped out on this.
Otherwise thank you for an epic day. The marshals out on course were wonderful!

Who needs sunshine when you've got muddy trails, good company, and a whole lot of gravel!
Kyle Clarkson
Brilliant (but brutal
Brilliantly put on event - huge thanks to organisers!
Hamish Thomson
Great event with a nice feel and atmosphere.
